Who We Are
Sometimes chasing children around is like trying to herd chickens. Ironically enough, sometimes navigating foster care is like trying to herd chickens. Everyone runs around in all different directions while we just try and keep up! Alright folks, here it is. We are a blended family of huge proportions and an equally huge car. My husband and I have six children. We have boy (16) and girl (15) from my husbands first marriage. We are also fostering to adopt a sibling group of 4 bio-siblings from foster care. They are boy (17), boy (14) , boy (9), and girl (8). In addition we have 2 cats, 1 turtle, 2 fish and 2 hamsters that look suspiciously like mice to me! Our Honda Pilot can just barely fit everybody and our house is bursting at the seams. Nevertheless, we have a happy farm. Wait–did I say farm?! I meant family! Join us as we journey from foster-parenting into adopting our chickens
